Natasha Kai is a retired professional soccer player who was born on May 22, 1983 in Kahuku, Hawaii. She is best known for her time playing for the United States women's national soccer team and in the National Women's Soccer League.
Kai made her debut for the national team in 2006 and went on to represent the United States in the 2007 FIFA Women's World Cup and the 2008 Beijing Olympics, where she won a gold medal. She was also part of the team that won the 2008 CONCACAF Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournament.
In addition to her international success, Kai also had a successful club career, playing for teams such as the Hawaii Rainbow Wahine, Sky Blue FC, and Philadelphia Independence. She retired from professional soccer in 2013.
Off the field, Kai has been involved in various community service initiatives, including working with organizations that promote healthy living and physical fitness among youth. She has also been an advocate for women's sports and gender equity in athletics.
